Who Doesn't Love a New Beginning?
A fresh start, a clean slate, an opportunity to learn and grow. New beginnings can be filled with excitement, challenge, and yes, a period of adjustment. But who doesn’t love a new beginning?
We, the doulas of Align are excited about the next chapter unfolding in 2020, and are committed to bringing high quality doula services to even more Madison area families this year, because we know that a doula supported beginning is often a smoother one. We strive to help the families we work with to feel knowledgeable, prepared, and confident going into their births and transitioning into the next chapter once baby arrives. We know that feeling well supported throughout this important time can make all the difference.
It is our honor to be with families every step of the way, from filling in the blanks during a free consultation if they aren’t sure what questions to ask, to exploring their birth options and preferences, to being there throughout their birth, and as they navigate learning how to feed and care for their new baby.
We know that the families that work with us will be significantly less likely to be dissatisfied with their birth experiences, and that our help during early experiences with breastfeeding can affect long term outcomes— not to mention help prevent unnecessary pain and suffering. Plain and simple, doula supported families receive the support they need and deserve to set themselves up for a positive new beginning.
The other great news is that finding support that truly aligns with you, your perfect doula fit, has never been so easy! The 10 of us have widely varying backgrounds, experience, and specialties, and look forward to learning about your needs and how we may be able to help.
