Align Doula Services is a doula group in Madison, Wisconsin where you will find expert, balanced, tailored support that truly aligns with you. Available services include virtual classes on childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn care, placenta encapsulation, lactation counseling, birth doula support during pregnancy, birth, and beyond, and postpartum doula care to help your family welcome your new addition(s). We strive to make it a seamless, easy process for you to find the perfect support team.

You send us one request, and we will put you in touch with any doulas who align with your needs. From there, the choice is yours.

How can a doula support your family?

Most people, whether they are preparing to have a baby or preparing to act as a support person at a birth, have never seen a birth in real life. It’s asking a lot to expect you and your partner to know what questions to ask, what alternatives are available, what your rights are, how to physically and emotionally offer support, and how best to prepare your body and mind for birth. You will have the support of your OB or Midwife and your nurse (if you’re at a hospital), but unfortunately their other obligations such as checking on other patients and charting may keep them from your room for prolonged periods of time.

Hiring a doula means having knowledgeable guidance and support to enhance your experience every step of the way - from pregnancy, through birth, to caring for your new baby. We provide support in your home and/or at the hospital or birthing center. Once we have joined you in labor, we will be there by your side every step of the way, whether you labor for 6 hours or 26 hours. Our doulas have now received badges at both Madison, Wisconsin birthing hospitals, which allow us to stay by your side even in the case of a C-Section.
